We’re a church…just different.

We desire to be a church that is whole-heartedly in love with Jesus, is doing everything it can to invite HIS presence in each service, and is striving to walk in fullness of love to our community, and to each other. Our mission is to lead people to an experience with the Presence & Love of Jesus through Transforming Worship, Caring relationships, & Personal Ministry.
In 2004, God moved on the leadership of the church to make a radical change from being a “program” driven church to a “presence” based church. To read more about this process, Pastor Lonnie Parton has authored the book, “Desperate People in Desperate Times”, describing how this dramatic change transpired and what it has meant for us.  Since that time, we have become a people who are desperately seeking the manifest presence of Jesus to transform personal lives, homes, cities and nations.  We are committed to making 2 Chronicles 7:14 a lifestyle, “If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, I will forgive their sins and I will heal their land.”
There is something on the inside, a fire that burns deep within us, that yearns to be transparent, honest, and genuine, before God, our community, and before one another. We are not perfect, but we care, deeply.

What can you expect?

Because we seek after the leading of the Holy Spirit for the direction of our gatherings, it would be hard to say that each service is alike.  However, here’s a glimpse of what you could expect when you visit us for the first time:
  • Authentic, vibrant worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through music and the arts
  • An opportunity to experience and encounter Jesus and to establish a relationship with Him
  • Extended times of prayer
  • An atmosphere where the presence of God can inhabit
  • Biblical preaching of the truth and love of our God and Father
  • Friendly, loving people from a variety of nations
  • An opportunity for personal, prophetic ministry
  • Participation in communion
